These hormones cause heavy amounts of gas in the animal. When the gas is released, it comes out as methane gas, which is really corrosive to the atmosphere and ozone. It has been proposed that the large amount of cow farms are a major part of deterioration of the ozone and have been a contributing factor to climate change. Since these hormones are not injected into the goat, this methane is not as abundant and therefore helps protect the environment more.

Well, earlier, I told you that goats can be a source of income through means like milk and meat, or be a friend to you or your kids. Yes. It was not a mistype. I have a friend that started with fainting goats as a hobby. His kids fell in love with the animals and started bringing them to 4H shows and winning prizes from their great goats. Although this is neither a common way to make money, nor a recommended way, it has worked for them. Their kids love these animals and do everything to take care of them to show them off.
